As an IR Registered Nurse your core responsibilities will center on patient-centered care before during and after interventional procedures. Youll function as a key member of the IR team coordinating care maintaining sterile technique and ensuring anesthesia and radiology staff have the support they need for safe efficient procedures. - Prepare and assist in interventional radiology procedures maintaining strict sterile technique and infection control.
- Monitor patient status before during and after procedures recognizing and responding promptly to changes in condition.
- Perform accurate documentation medication administration within scope and post-procedure instructions.
- Support radiology and anesthesia teams with equipment checks inventory management and procedural readiness.
