Job Summary

Job title: Data Scientist
Type: Full-time Permanent
Location: Bulgaria-based with flexible home office or hybrid working

What youll do

You will work closely with the engineering team and key business stakeholders to design build and refine the analytics behind a next-generation energy modelling practice you will:
Develop and maintain statistical and machine learning models to support both manual and AI-powered scenario creation.
Collaborate with software engineers to productionise your models including data pipelines validation deployment and monitoring.
Translate complex domain concepts into clear robust analytical solutions that can be embedded directly into product features.
Own model quality end to end carrying out data checks testing experimentation and continuous improvement.
Contribute to analytical best practice through documentation code reviews and knowledge sharing.
Present insights and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What we are looking for

Experience in developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments
Strong Python skills and familiarity with common data science toolkits
Understanding of data engineering fundamentals such as pipelines testing and version control
Domain expertise in the energy or oil and gas sector or a strong motivation to learn quickly
Experience with time series forecasting or scenario modelling is a plus
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced agile environment
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
