What youll do
- You will work closely with the engineering team and key business stakeholders to design build and refine the analytics behind a next-generation energy modelling practice you will:
- Develop and maintain statistical and machine learning models to support both manual and AI-powered scenario creation.
- Collaborate with software engineers to productionise your models including data pipelines validation deployment and monitoring.
- Translate complex domain concepts into clear robust analytical solutions that can be embedded directly into product features.
- Own model quality end to end carrying out data checks testing experimentation and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to analytical best practice through documentation code reviews and knowledge sharing.
- Present insights and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What we are looking for
- Experience in developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments
- Strong Python skills and familiarity with common data science toolkits
- Understanding of data engineering fundamentals such as pipelines testing and version control
- Domain expertise in the energy or oil and gas sector or a strong motivation to learn quickly
- Experience with time series forecasting or scenario modelling is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced agile environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
