Key Responsibilities -
Perform PET/CT and nuclear medicine studies following RAYUS protocols.

Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately.

Operate and troubleshoot PET/CT equipment; complete all QC and equipment checks.

Provide patient care before during and after imaging; explain procedures clearly.

Ensure radiation safety proper isotope handling and compliance with state/federal regulations.

Maintain accurate documentation: dose logs QC logs patient records.
-
Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to support diagnostic interpretation.
-
Keep exam rooms stocked and organized; assist with protocol updates and training.
Minimum Requirements -
Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program (Associate or Bachelor).

Active NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification.
-
Florida Nuclear Medicine Technologist License (required).

Device-specific PET/CT training (meets Florida CT portion requirement).
-
Valid BLS/CPR certification.
-
Knowledge of radiopharmaceuticals imaging protocols QC and radiation safety.
Preferred Qualifications -
1 year Nuclear Medicine or PET/CT experience.

ARRT(CT) helpful for full CT functionality.
-
Experience with GE Siemens or Philips PET/CT systems.
-
Bilingual (Spanish/English) beneficial in Miami market.
