Cath Lab Tech Regular Full-Time (Days)
Position Summary The Cath Lab Technologist provides technical support during cardiac catheterization interventional cardiology vascular and electrophysiology procedures. The technologist assists physicians throughout diagnostic and therapeutic interventions operates fluoroscopic and monitoring equipment and ensures accurate documentation of procedural data. This role requires strong knowledge of invasive cardiology hemodynamic monitoring and sterile technique along with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary cardiovascular team.
Key Responsibilities -
Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization angiography vascular electrophysiology and interventional procedures.

Operate fluoroscopy equipment imaging systems hemodynamic monitors and related devices.

Prepare procedure rooms equipment and supplies for scheduled and emergent procedures.

Maintain sterile technique and ensure proper handling of instruments and supplies.
-
Monitor and record physiologic and hemodynamic data during procedures.
-
Document procedural details accurately in the electronic medical record and cardiovascular systems.
-
Support patient preparation positioning and monitoring before during and after procedures.
-
Assist with room turnover supply restocking and equipment upkeep.
-
Collaborate with nurses physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated workflow.
-
Maintain compliance with safety radiation protection and infection-control standards.
-
Perform additional responsibilities within scope as assigned.
Qualifications -
ARRT(R) and state licensure (as applicable) OR RCIS OR RCES required.

Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab preferred.

Completion of a Cardiovascular Technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred.

Current BLS (AHA) certification.
-
Current ACLS (AHA) certification (required within 30 days if not current).

Proficient computer skills.

Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology experience preferred.

Certification required (per above credentials).
