Location: Coventry (with flexible working options)
Salary: Negotiable dependent on experience
Permanent Full-Time
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our clients well-established law firm. They are looking to recruit an ambitious and experienced Corporate / Commercial Fee Earner to work alongside their highly regarded Corporate Commercial Partners.
This is a rare and exciting position within a growing Corporate / Commercial team a role thats far more than just M&A. The firm prides itself on really getting to know its clients and their businesses allowing you to build long-term meaningful relationships and truly add value.
This is the ideal role for a Corporate Solicitor who may be seeking greater variety and client connection beyond purely transactional work but who doesnt wish to move in-house. Its a fantastic development opportunity offering a clear measurable route to equity partnership and a genuine chance to help shape the future of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied caseload covering all aspects of Company and Commercial law.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships providing pragmatic and commercially focused legal advice.
- Handle matters from instruction through to completion with minimal supervision.
- Identify opportunities for business development and contribute to the ongoing growth of the department.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues and partners to deliver an exceptional client experience.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Solicitor with 24 years PQE (or equivalent experience).
- Strong background in Corporate and Commercial work ideally within a private practice setting.
- Confident managing your own caseload and meeting fee-earning targets.
- Excellent relationship-builder with proven business development experience.
- A proactive driven individual who enjoys working autonomously as well as part of a team.
- Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to own transport (due to office location and client travel).
