Job Summary

Were seeking an experienced Construction Services Manager to oversee delivery functions across logistics utilities traffic and survey teams on a major rail infrastructure program in Victoria. This position plays a critical role in ensuring safe coordinated and efficient site operations across multiple locations.

The role will be based between the Docklands/Broadford offices with regular travel to site. You will provide leadership across multi-disciplinary teams and ensure operational performance aligns with project targets safety expectations and industry compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead construction support functions across utilities traffic logistics and survey teams.

  • Oversee day-to-day site coordination to ensure smooth delivery and compliance with project requirements.

  • Maintain safety and quality leadership by enforcing risk controls and HSEQ standards.

  • Monitor budgets schedules and resource utilisation; identify risks and implement corrective actions.

  • Engage with councils authorities and key external stakeholders for permits program inputs and operational approvals.

  • Mentor supervisors and subcontractors fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

  • Ensure accurate documentation including activity logs incident reporting and progress updates.

  • Oversee traffic staging utility relocations survey establishment and procurement support for relevant packages.

  • Promote innovation in delivery methods and work practices.



Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or similar.

  • 10 years experience in major infrastructure (rail preferred).

  • Strong leadership experience across utilities traffic logistics or survey operations.

  • Understanding of industry codes standards and regulatory frameworks.

  • TMI accreditation or equivalent (desirable).

  • Strong commercial acumen reporting and budgeting capability.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • White Card and current drivers licence.
