Were seeking an experienced Construction Services Manager to oversee delivery functions across logistics utilities traffic and survey teams on a major rail infrastructure program in Victoria. This position plays a critical role in ensuring safe coordinated and efficient site operations across multiple locations.
The role will be based between the Docklands/Broadford offices with regular travel to site. You will provide leadership across multi-disciplinary teams and ensure operational performance aligns with project targets safety expectations and industry compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead construction support functions across utilities traffic logistics and survey teams.
Oversee day-to-day site coordination to ensure smooth delivery and compliance with project requirements.
Maintain safety and quality leadership by enforcing risk controls and HSEQ standards.
Monitor budgets schedules and resource utilisation; identify risks and implement corrective actions.
Engage with councils authorities and key external stakeholders for permits program inputs and operational approvals.
Mentor supervisors and subcontractors fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Ensure accurate documentation including activity logs incident reporting and progress updates.
Oversee traffic staging utility relocations survey establishment and procurement support for relevant packages.
Promote innovation in delivery methods and work practices.
Requirements
Degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or similar.
10 years experience in major infrastructure (rail preferred).
Strong leadership experience across utilities traffic logistics or survey operations.
Understanding of industry codes standards and regulatory frameworks.
TMI accreditation or equivalent (desirable).
Strong commercial acumen reporting and budgeting capability.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
White Card and current drivers licence.
