The ideal candidate is someone who works well in a team environment detail-oriented strong communication skills and problem-solving skills. This position offers a competitive pay rate with potential adjustments based on experience and qualifications as well as the opportunity for advancement employee recognition and team collaboration.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Fulfills all legal and regulatory requirements including evaluation selection procurement and distribution of drugs counseling and professional consultation
- Ensures compliance with all state and federal regulations as well as policies of the hospital and PharmD on Demand
- Interprets physician medication orders
- Represents the hospital and PharmD on Demand in a positive and professional manner
- Maintains customer confidentiality at all times
- Complies with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices
- Exercises sound judgment in decision-making
- Interacts effectively with diverse individuals
- Maintains professionalism in all situations
- Uses time effectively and efficiently
Position Requirements:
- Current pharmacist licensure in the applicable state(s)
Schedule Details:
- On call shift one weekend per month
- As needed 1-2 shifts a quarter
