Our Kendal at Hanover Homemaker Services team has a great part-time opportunity for qualified individuals interested in helping older adults. The Transportation/Administrative Float performs a variety of tasks in support of the day-to-day transportation of residents to medical and non-medical appointments including operating Kendal vehicles to transport residents on trips to a variety of locations and providing direct support to the Homemaker Services team in meeting the needs of residents and accepting delegated tasks and assignments. Possession of a valid drivers license and good driving record is required.

Pay Range: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Schedules medical appointments for residents using a variety of scheduling systems. e.g. DHMC Epic Matrix Care
- Communicates appointment dates and times with residents nurse supervisors and clinicians; daily and as needed.
- Completes daily follow-up phone calls to confirm appointment dates times and pick-up time before end of shift.
- Assures courteous service to residents and other passengers by tactfully addressing residents special requests.
- Consistently adheres to established Kendal at Hanovers policies and procedures.
- Exemplifies professionalism: Wears ID Badge with name clearly visible; follows dress code; communicates with respect and competence
- Maintains a high level of confidentiality at all times.
- Maintains security of residents and staff by following safety guidelines.
- Constructively utilize downtime requesting guidance if unable to independently identify tasks
- Provides clerical support to Homemaker Services Department utilizing a variety of computer programs. e.g. Word Excel Outlook
