Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up programming and operating CNC machines to produce parts according to customer specifications. This role requires strong technical expertise mechanical knowledge and the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Duties
- Program set up and operate CNC milling machines and CNC lathes using Mazatrol controls
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate machining
- Utilize measuring instruments such as calipers micrometers bore gauges and coordinate measuring machines to verify part dimensions
- Select appropriate tooling and fixtures for machining tasks including hand tools and power tools
- Conduct quality inspections using measuring instruments to ensure parts meet specifications
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams on process improvements and tooling upgrades
