QA Automation Engineer

Position Overview:

We are hiring an experienced SDET (46 years) to join our QA Engineering team. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on expertise in Java-based automation including API automation (Rest Assured) UI automation (Selenium) and mobile automation using Appium with Java. Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and Katalon is an added advantage.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain API automation frameworks using Java Rest Assured
• Build and enhance UI automation using Selenium WebDriver
• Develop and execute mobile automation for Android/iOS using Appium Java
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab/etc.)
• Collaborate with Dev & Product teams to ensure high-quality releases
• Perform functional regression and integration testing
• Troubleshoot automation failures and drive root-cause analysis
  
  

Must Have Skills

• Strong proficiency in Java and automation framework development
• Hands-on experience with API automation (Rest Assured)
• Solid experience with Selenium WebDriver
• Mobile automation experience using Appium Java
• Familiarity with Katalon Studio (advantageous)
• Comfortable with TestNG/JUnit Maven/Gradle Git
• Good understanding of CI/CD practices
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
  
  

Good to have Skills:

• Exposure to performance testing tools
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Qualification:

• BE/ or equivalent degree in Computer Science or related field.
