Job Summary
$27.82 per hour; 7 hours paid per day; 192 paid days (182 work days 10 paid holidays)Provide continuous supervision and direct support to the assigned students throughout the school dayAssist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed which may include feeding toileting diapering lifting mobility assistance and hygiene and monitor medical protocols as directed by the school nurse or healthcare team (e.g. seizure monitoring use of medical equipment such as G-tubes etc.)Support student participation in classroom activities play-based learning and social interaction promoting engagement and developmentally appropriate and trauma-informed strategies to support the students communication behavior and teacher in updating communication notebooks and assisting with parent outreach to promote home-school and participate in team meetings and training sessions as confidentiality and adhere to privacy protocols related to student medical and educational and report health incidents and significant behavioral or developmental for signs of distress or medical need and respond according to emergency protocols and individualized health care plans (IHCPs).Assist in maintaining a safe and hygienic learning environment.
