Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking CVOR Registered Nurse Day Shiftfor an exciting in Sanford FL.

Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care CVOR RN experience required.
- Current Florida RN license (or multistate compact license; Florida license must be obtained within 60 days if relocating).
- Registered Nurse Diploma or Associate Degree.
- ACLS certification or instructor status within 6 months of hire.
- BLS certification or instructor status within 30 days of hire.
- PALS or equivalent pediatric emergency certification within 6 months of hire.
Additional Details
- Approximately 1015 open-heart cases per month; on non-OH case days you will work in the regular OR.
- Must live within 30 minutes of the hospital for on-call duties.
Position Overview
- Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care in the cardiovascular operating room.
- Collaborate with surgeons surgical technologists and multidisciplinary teams in a culture of mutual respect.
- Participate in surgical site verification and universal protocols ensuring patient safety.
- Evaluate and prepare patients for surgery including intravenous therapy medication administration and patient/family education.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and monitor patient conditions throughout shifts.
- Document patient care thoroughly and educate patients and caregivers on medical conditions and follow-up care.
- Be available for on-call duties during select non-business hours.
