Hospitalist opportunity in Rio Rancho NM
Great opportunity to join a well-established team of 27 physicians and 4 advanced practitioners at our Rio Rancho location. Our team comprises clinicians from diverse geographic educational and training backgrounds. As a smaller community hospital we work closely with our hospital partners to make meaningful changes.
Position Highlights:
- Hospitalists do respond to codes but are not part of the Rapid Response team.
- Procedures that are required:
- Paracentesis (2 per month)
- Lumbar puncture (usually less than one per month)
- Thoracenteses small bore chest tube (2 per month. But we can always consult a Pulmonologist for this).
Qualifications:
- Board certified/eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in New Mexico.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
