Acerca del equipo/puesto
Buscamos un SR Software Engineer para incorporarse a nuestro Data operations team. Este equipo desempeña un papel crucial en nuestra misión ya que desarrolla y mantiene los sistemas que realizan verificaciones de antecedentes precisas y eficientes.
Trabajarás en proyectos de gran impacto que contribuyen directamente a la funcionalidad principal de los servicios de verificación de antecedentes de Checkr. Serás fundamental para mejorar nuestras capacidades de ingestión y procesamiento de datos y para garantizar la confiabilidad y precisión de nuestro producto principal.
Qué harás:
- Crear y mantener canales de datos y conjuntos de datos fundamentales para respaldar las necesidades del producto/negocio.
- Diseñar y crear arquitecturas de bases de datos con datos masivos y complejos equilibrando la carga computacional y el costo.
- Desarrollar auditorías para la calidad de los datos a gran escala implementando alertas cuando sea necesario.
- Crear paneles de control y reportes escalables para respaldar los objetivos comerciales y permitir la toma de decisiones basada en datos.
- Solucionar y resolver problemas complejos en entornos de producción.
- Trabajar en estrecha colaboración con los gerentes de producto y otras partes interesadas para definir e implementar nuevas funciones.
Requisitos:
- Inglés fluido (stakeholders en USA y las entrevistas técnicas son 100% en inglés)
- Más de 5 años de experiencia en desarrollo de software full-stack.
- Sólidos conocimientos de al menos uno de los siguientes lenguajes: Ruby (preferiblemente) Python o Golang.
- Experiencia en procesamiento de datos a gran escala tanto por lotes como en streaming.
- Sólidos conocimientos de sistemas de bases de datos tanto SQL como NoSQL.
- Experiencia con tecnologías de big data como Kafka Spark Iceberg Datalake AWS Glue Athena y S3.
- Experiencia con ETL/ELT procesamiento de datos en flujo y por lotes a gran escala.
- Conocimiento de las mejores prácticas de seguridad y cuestiones relacionadas con la privacidad de los datos.
- Experiencia con arquitectura de microservicios y API RESTful.
- Fuertes habilidades para la resolución de problemas y atención al detalle.
Se valorará:
- Experiencia/conocimiento de plataformas de procesamiento de datos como Databricks o Snowflake.

On-target Earnings OR Base Salary range (Santiago Chile)
$45.900.000 - $54.000.000 CLP

At Checkr we believe a hybrid work environment strengthens collaboration drives innovation and encourages connection. Our hub locations are Denver CO San Francisco CA and Santiago Chile. Individuals are expected to work from the office 2 to 3 days a week. Starting January 2026 hub-based employees will be expected to work from the office 3 days per -office perks are provided such as lunch four times a week a commuter stipend and an abundance of snacks and beverages.
