Qualifications:
College hours high school diploma or GED.
Bilingual required both oral and written (English/Spanish).
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask and manage a busy front office environment.
Proficiency with basic office software and phone systems.
Attention to detail and accuracy in clerical work.
Professional demeanor and reliability.
Ability to maintain emotional stability.
Cooperative with district personnel and patrons.
Primary Purpose:
Provide customer service and administrative support by greeting visitors answering inquiries and managing front office operations and ensuring a professional and organized reception area.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors staff and vendors professionally.
- Answer and route phone calls take accurate messages.
- Check in guests verify identification and follow site-specific security procedures.
- Maintain visitor logs sign-in sheets and required documentation.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail/packages.
- Schedule meetings appointments or facility use as directed.
- Assist with data entry filing and other clerical tasks.
- Support staff with administrative tasks as needed.
- Follow department and district policies related to confidentiality safety and customer service.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Equipment Used:
Multi-line phone system personal computer copier/fax/scanner and calculator.
Working Conditions:
Work with frequent interruptions maintain emotional control under stress. Repetitive hand motions.
