Job Summary

Location: Gorgonzola Italy

Gorgonzola hosts Navigations Air Systems (NAS) domain. The activity of NAS domain: avionics navigation and radar systems for civil air traffic and technologies supporting the activities of civilian and military pilots ATC controllers and technicians of several airlines air traffic control agencies and Air Force around the world. Italy is the Groups Competence center for the design production and delivery of Navigation Aids products and Competence Centre for the delivery of non-Radar Surveillance Products.

Thales Italia is currently looking for an HR Specialist Intern to join us in our Gorgonzola (MI) office for a 6-month internship. The HR Specialist Intern will support the HR Business Partner team in delivering people-related initiatives and providing day-to-day assistance to managers and employees. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in strategic HR activities including performance management HR administration talent development total reward benefits and HR analytics. The ideal candidate is eager to learn well-organized and able to thrive in a collaborative diverse and international environment.

ACTIVITIES

  • Assist the HR Business Partner in supporting business units with daily HR-related activities
  • Support Performance Management processes Development programs Training sessions the annual Compensation & Benefits cycle employees relations and Engagement initiatives
  • Help resolve employee queries by providing first-level support or redirecting them to the appropriate HR contact
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to provide insights and support data-driven recommendations
  • Maintain and update HR documents data and reports with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Support the implementation of and ensure compliance with global and local standards rules tools policies and processes
  • Promote a culture of inclusion and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with the wider HR team on cross-functional projects and process improvements

REQUIREMENTS

  • Qualifications and background o Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources Psychology Business Administration or related fields
  • Previous internship or experience in HR or administrative roles is a plus
  • Fluency in Italian and English. Knowledge of any additional language is a plus
  • Required skills o Excellent interpersonal skills with a humble and collaborative approach
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • A proactive analytical organized and problem-solving work style
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Human Resources data analytics or compensation topics will be considered a plus
  • Willingness to travel to different Thales locations across Italy.
