Inviting applications for the role Management Trainee OTC Collections
We are looking for a Collection Specialist eager to partner with a high-growth technology company. As a Collection Specialist you will be responsible for managing and collecting outstanding accounts receivable from our customers. This role is critical in ensuring the financial stability and cash flow of the company.
Responsibilities

Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments.
Contact customers via phone email and dunning letters to remind them of outstanding invoices.
Negotiate payment plans and terms with customers to settle overdue accounts.
Maintain accurate records of all collection activities including communications and payment arrangements.
Analyze aging reports to track and manage the status of accounts receivable.
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to facilitate timely payments.
Address and resolve customer billing issues and discrepancies in a professional and timely manner.
Provide excellent customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Prepare and present regular reports on collection activities and the status of outstanding accounts.
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations regarding collections activities.
Process incoming payments to customer accounts accurately and timely.

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or a related field preferred.
Proven experience as a Collection Specialist or similar role in accounts receivable.
Familiarity with billing procedures and collection techniques.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. NetSuite QuickBooks) and MS Office especially Excel.
