Work hours: Full-Time 40 hours weekly Monday and Tuesday 6:00am - 2:30pm; Friday 12:00pm - 8:00pm; Saturday and Sunday 6:00am - 2:30pm

Heres What You Need

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Pref
• Cooking experience highly preferred
• 2 years relevant experience in high volume restaurant hospital hotel country club or Institution Req
• FHC - Food Handlers Certificate 30 Days Req

What You Will Do

• Produces high quality products; utilizes creativity and training in producing food items that are aesthetically pleasing and taste appealing. Follows department standards of food quality and recipe taste.
• Observes food preparation and tastes prepared food to verify flavor and texture standards. Required to taste food prepared by other cooks.
• Demonstrates creativity in food presentation in both bulk service and individual plating.
• Organizes work for maximum productivity; accurately follows and understands production sheets and avoid over production
• Consult on special meals events and menus. Assist in menu choices and recipe development utilizing cost analysis
• Make recipe or menu changes so that foods will be utilized before expiration date. 20%
• In the absence of Production Supervisor or Food Service Director/Manager plan menu substitutions and supervise in designated areas.
