We are seeking a highly skilled Metrology Engineer to join our automotive team. This role is critical in ensuring precision measurement and quality standards across our manufacturing processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate dimensional analysis and support product development and production.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute CMM programming for complex automotive components.
- Apply advanced GD&T principles to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Support BIW (Body-in-White) and stamping processes within OEM or Tier 1 environments.
- Lead project management activities including planning coordination and reporting.
- Manage supplier relationships including conducting buy-offs and ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve measurement-related issues.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in CMM programming and metrology systems.
- Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Background in automotive manufacturing particularly stampings or BIW.
- Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
- Experience in supplier management
