Job Summary
ICC (Intensive Care Consortium) is seeking an experienced nocturnist PRN acute care nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join HCA Houston Healthcare Medical Center in Houston Candidates:Acute care certified NP or experienced PAAt least 12 months experience in Cardiology/CV Surgical ICU preferredAPP providers must be proficient with and credentialed to perform routine Critical Care procedures including central and arterial line placement and management of mechanical ventilation. Comfortable running Cardiac Arrest Code. Intubation experience a plus but not requiredAbility to work PRN 4-6 shifts per monthNights only12-hour shifts covering a 12-bed medical ICU and 22- bed CVICU2 MDs (6am to 6pm); 1 MD and 1 APP (6 pm to 6 am)Busy program with high acuity patient population Incentive/Benefits Package:Competitive compensationAppropriate staffing models and flexible scheduling100% covered occurrence based malpractice InsuranceExpert practice management including privileging provider enrollment and billing and collectionsW2 Employed competitive hourly rate
