ROLE SUMMARY
The role of Senior Director FP&A and Above-Site Functions within PGS Finance is responsible for the global financial processes related to the total PGS budget of $14 billion which comprises monthly actuals reporting; quarterly forecasts; and the annual budget/operating plan.
The FP&A Finance Lead is responsible for the coordination of the annual Pfizer Global Supply (PGS) standard cost development and communication to the Commercial and PC1 businesses for 18000 SKUs. This colleague will be the finance business partner to the PGS Above-Site Functions (Quality Safety & Environmental Operations (QSEO); Global Technology Engineering and Launch Excellence (GTEL); Net Zero; Leadership; and PGS Digital) with an operating budget of $850M and will be a member of the QSEO Leadership Team. The role has management responsibility for a finance team comprised of ten colleagues.
This position is responsible for delivering timely financial reporting and strategic analysis financial processes and systems to the PGS organization as well as maintaining a proper financial internal control environment. The FP&A Finance Lead will be responsible for liaising between PGS Site and Operating Unit Finance Leads Global Accounting R&D Finance Commercial Finance Operations Planning & Analysis Corporate Tax Internal Audit and GBS.
This position will be a member of the PGS Finance Leadership Team (PGS FLT) which helps set the strategic direction for PGS Finance ensuring focus on business partnering process improvement reporting compliance and colleague engagement & development. The PGS FLT also supports PGS Finance leadership on Pfizer Inc. global initiatives and special projects.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for global financial processes related to total PGS budget which comprise monthly actuals reporting; quarterly forecasts; annual budget
- Responsible for the coordination of annual standard cost development and communication to the Commercial and PC1 businesses for 18000 SKUs
- Responsible for the development of the PGS operating plan and presentation materials to the Pfizer Executive Leadership Team
- Finance leader for PGS Above-Site Functions (Quality Safety & Environmental Operations; Global Technology Engineering and Launch Excellence (GTEL); Net Zero; Leadership; PGS Digital Projects)
- Leadership of PGS Financial Planning & Analysis team comprising ten colleagues (seven direct reports)
- Responsible for the financial systems and associated enhancements that support PGS Finance (Mosaic; InSite; DaViD; GMX)
- Responsible for all financial processes and data analytics specific to the PGS Finance operating budget
- Primary liaison to the PGS Source-To-Pay (S2P) organization on financials
- Responsible for ongoing analytics and system improvements for COMET (Cost and Margin Enterprise Analytics Tool) providing unparalleled transparency to Pfizer Cost of Sales
- Responsible for PGS restructuring financial processes (annual budget; quarterly forecasts; actual results)
- Responsible for the financial carve-out of the new Global Hospital & Biosimilars (GH&B) and Global Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing (GBM) units within PGS
- Act as primary liaison between PGS and R&D related to project planning and PGS site utilization of capacity
- Responsible for management/oversight to PGS COVID (Comirnaty; Paxlovid) reporting and financial coordination with key stakeholders
- Play a lead role for all FP&A-related ad-hoc strategic projects
- Monitor and ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial results; partner with GBS and Global Accounting in successfully performing month-end close activities
- Maintain a proper internal control environment
- Ensure compliance and consistency to processes and procedures to ensure business continuity
- Ensure that PGS Finance FP&A is audit-ready at all times for either internal or external review
- Establish and promote a culture of continuous improvement

- As required partner with external agencies to ensure financial support and relationships
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 15 years of experience as Finance Leader in complex and dynamic organizations and environment;Manufacturing Finance experience is a requirement.
- Bachelors degree in business or finance required; Advance business degree (MBA or CPA/CA) preferred
- Strong financial and business acumen required
- Strong understanding of financial processes and controls required
- Ability to work effectively within a matrix organizational structure and to effectively develop business partner relationships is critical
- Previous experience managing in a large complex environment at a global scale
- Proven leadership communication and interpersonal / relationship management skills including executive level interactions; successful experience managing colleagues across wide spectrum of cultures and geographies; high performance history of providing clear direction team alignment executing priorities and delivering results.

- Proven analytical skills with the ability to analyze and assimilate data for critical business decisions in a timely manner
