As the Advertising Manager you will lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies that elevate the Harrahs Resort Southern California brand. Youll oversee creative direction advertising campaigns media planning public/community relations and strategic alliances all while ensuring consistency innovation and alignment with company goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in marketing Communications or related field.
- 4 years of marketing experience including 2 years in creative or agency management.
- Strong understanding of advertising agency operations and campaign development.
- Experience in public/community relations and strategic partnerships.
- Excellent organizational communication and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to lead teams manage budgets and meet deadlines.
Essential Job Functions:
- Lead the Creative Team to ensure brand standards are upheld across all marketing channels.
- Develop and administer the annual advertising plan including creative concepts media selection and campaign strategy.
- Oversee internal and external production of photo/video shoots and marketing materials.
- Manage relationships with advertising agencies vendors and Caesars Entertainment team.
- Direct public relations community relations and strategic alliance initiatives.
- Collaborate with department managers to identify promotional opportunities and support with advertising and direct marketing.
- Negotiate contracts and identify added-value opportunities with media outlets.
- Monitor marketing trends and research to inform strategy.
- Supervise team performance staffing training and development.
- Ensure compliance with federal state and gaming laws.
- Oversee departmental operating and capital budget sessions.
- Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
- Ability to read write speak and understand English.
- Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
- Must present a well-groomed professional appearance.
- Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and complies with all state federal and regulatory policies and procedures.
- Must be able to work a varied schedule including holidays nights and weekends as needed.
- Must be able to work a reasonable amount of overtime when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Mental & Environmental Demands:
- Must be able to work inside and continuously maneuver around office area and throughout the casino property.
- Must be able to bend crouch kneel twist lift stoop reach and work at a desk when performing administrative functions.
- Must be able to work in areas containing secondhand smoke dust loud noises and bright lights.
