About the Position:

• Trailer Movement: Operating daycab to relocate trailers to designated areas within the yard.
• Safety Compliance: Conducting pre- and post-trip inspections of shunt trucks to ensure safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Communication: Coordinating with dispatch and yard personnel to organize loads and ensure efficient movement of trailers and containers.
• 1 shuttle run to Kitchener a day
• Extra hours available on weekends if youd like
• Paid overtime after 60 hours

Position Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
• Clean drivers abstract and CVOR
• Satisfactory pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
• Satisfactory drug and alcohol random testing
• Valid AZ License
• Satisfactory current background screening (Criminal and Judicial Matters)

Responsibilities:

• Driving equipment in a safe and responsible manner
• Completing all applicable paperwork electronically
• Using and maintaining ISAAC ELD software
• Responsible for communicating with Dispatch.
• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers and co-workers in a professional manner
• Be able to perform physical work at times (lifting in excess of 50lbs)
• Observing and complying with rules and regulations of the Ministry of Transportation and the Highway Traffic Act
