With two unique store locationsone inside the Portland Airport and one at our workshop store in Old Townyoull be part of a business that blends heritage craft and community.

What Youll Do

As a team member youll help create an unforgettable shopping experience while supporting store operations. You will:

• Open and/or close the store ensuring security and readiness for the day.
• Provide warm engaging customer service rooted in storytelling and product education.
• Approach customers confidently our style of selling is active friendly and conversational not passive or silent.
• Start conversations with travelers ask questions and authentically guide them through our product offerings.
• Help customers discover the right product by sharing insight into materials craftsmanship and care.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the sales floor is clean inviting and well-presented.
• Operate the POS system and handle cash transactions with accuracy and honesty.
• Reconcile the cash register at the end of shift and maintain attention to bill authenticity.
• Support inventory management: restocking organizing labeling and tracking product movement.
• Act as a role model for tidiness and cleanliness helping sustain a spotless hygienic and professional store environment.
• Serve as a communication bridge between retail and workshopsharing customer feedback and replenishment needs.
• Step into a leadership role when needed supporting teammates with guidance and positivity.

What Were Looking For:

Wed love to meet you if you:

• Have at least 1 year of retail or customer service experience.
• Are outgoing friendly confident not afraid to initiate conversations and actively sell.
• Are passionate about connecting with customers and building lasting relationships.
• Can speak clearly about products materials origins and craft.
• Understand the importance of strict timeliness and punctuality especially in the highly regulated U.S. airport environment.
• Have reliable cash-handling skills and strong attention to detail.
• Naturally take pride in maintaining an orderly clean workspace and store atmosphere.
• Are organized responsible and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoy working both independently and as part of a team.
• Are drawn to leather goods handmade craftsmanship and quality materials.
• Appreciate Mexican / Latino culture. Spanish fluency is a strong plus.
