Associate Veterinarian (Entry-Level) Description
Our Veterinary client is seeking change-makers and visionaries to add to their team in Lancaster PA. As an Associate Veterinarian you will be responsible for providing a personalized client/patient experience by leveraging the reimagined vision of veterinary care at the heart of this unique organization. The ideal candidate communicates clearly exercises sound clinical judgment and builds trust with pet owners. Associate Veterinarian (Entry-Level) Responsibilities
Examine diagnose and treat canine and feline patients
Advise pet owners on general care nutrition and preventive health
Manage sensitive or difficult client conversations with compassion
Operate diagnostic equipment and accurately interpret the results
Restore pet health by treating animals surgically or medically
Educate owners about the benefits of spaying and neutering
Ensure adherence to veterinary standards ethics and clinic policies
Prevent rabies brucellosis and other disorders by testing and providing inoculations
Complete all required medical records and documentation
Collaborate with technicians to optimize workflow
Report communicable diseases to public health authorities as required
Associate Veterinarian (Entry-Level) Qualifications
DVM/VMD from an accredited program is required (upcoming DVM/VMD encouraged to apply)
North American Veterinary License required (or soon to earn if finishing Veterinary school)
Willingness to work one Saturday per month is required
