Mechanical Fitter
Rate: 17.63 per hour holiday pay
Location: CV23 area
Hours: Monday to Friday normal days
Job Type: 6 month contract
Start Date: ASAP
Were seeking a dedicated Mechanical Fitterto join a forward-thinking team in the CV23 area for an initial 6-month contract with an immediate start available.

Mechanical fitter duties:
- Mechanical and hydraulic assembly and/or end-of-line testing of components
- Using measurement tools like verniers and micrometers for precision inspection
- Supporting quality investigations and contributing to continuous improvement projects
- Navigating basic systems and structured processes effectively
- Managing time and tasks to meet tight deadlines
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in line with company standards
Mechanical fitter skills required:
- Proven mechanical assembly and/or test skills
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems and quality control processes
- Confidence using standard measurement tools
- Intermediate computer literacy especially MS Office
- A self-motivated attitude with strong organisational skills
- GCSEs in Maths & English (Grade C or above)
- Ideally a time-served apprenticeship or equivalent hands-on experience
