As a RECE you will be responsible for guiding teaching and ensuring the safety of children between infant to school age at centres located in Hamilton region. Your responsibilities include maintaining a high-quality environment assessing observing and caring for the individual needs of every child and maintaining professional communication with parents and co-workers.

Responsibilities:- Fulfill the lead teachers program and daily activities; if no plan exists create and implement a developmentally appropriate program.
- Promote the physical social emotional and intellectual well-being of children.
- Provide supervision and prioritize the safety of children; understand and comply with CCEYA public health and Sentient HR policies.
- Facilitate and participate with children in planned activities.
- Maintain and complete comprehensive documentation of childrens development and interactions.
- Report issues or concerns that may arise in accordance with centre procedures.
- Foster positive relationships and develop rapport through effective communication with peers.
- Work cooperatively as a team member and maintain a positive attitude.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:- ECE Diploma from a recognized Ontario college
- In Good Standing with the College of ECEs.
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Police check (within 6 months)
- Valid Standard First Aid & CPR-C
- Familiarity with HDLH AQI and CCEYA
- Reliable transportation within Hamilton.
