Are you ready to help shape the future of education and community facilities across Lancashire Join our Property Service team and play a key role in delivering projects that make a real difference to communities.

As a Capital Programme Officer you will:

  • Act as corporate landlord to manage a diverse property portfolio ensuring buildings support vital services and meet evolving needs.
  • Lead on delivering Department for Education Basic Need funded expansion schemes including new schools special school expansions SEND units and alternative provisions.
  • Manage the delivery of priority corporate schemes across Lancashire.
  • Coordinate stakeholders and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered on time within budget and to the highest standards.
  • Navigate a dynamic politically influenced environment while maintaining focus on value for money and service excellence.

  • Strong organisational and project management skills with experience delivering complex schemes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understanding of public service operations and property-related processes.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
