Job Summary
Canyon Vista Medical Center (CVMC) is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible General Surgeon to join an established and respected hospital-affiliated surgical group in Sierra Vista full-time opportunity offers a broad-based general surgery practice with access to advanced technology and a supportive team-based environment. The ideal candidate will be proficient in bread-and-butter general surgery GI procedures and wound care with the opportunity to incorporate robotic-assisted surgery into their Highlights:Join a well-established group of experienced general surgeons in a collegial and collaborative settingPractice at a Level III Trauma Center serving Southeastern ArizonaDa Vinci Xi surgical robot available for minimally invasive and complex proceduresWeekly schedule includes 2 dedicated OR daysBroad scope of practice includes:oGeneral surgeryoGI endoscopyoWound care at the Advanced Wound Care Center with hyperbaric oxygen therapyGeneral call rotation of 1:4 with robust support from hospital staffSurgical facilities include:o4 operating rooms and 2 GI suites at CVMCo4 additional ORs at the Outpatient Surgery Center on the CVMC campus
