Science Technician Specialist in Laboratory Support & Practical Science Manchester (Chorlton Area)
A successful secondary school in South Manchester is seeking a Science Technician for an immediate start to support its thriving Science faculty.
- Science Technician required ASAP.
- Manchester (Chorlton Area) Mainstream Secondary School.
- Seeking a specialist to support practical science delivery laboratory preparation and safety compliance across Biology Chemistry and Physics.
You will prepare and maintain laboratory equipment support teachers with practical demonstrations ensure safe storage of chemicals and assist with the organisation of experiments. The role requires strong attention to detail good scientific understanding and the ability to work efficiently within a busy department.
Experience and Qualifications
- Experience in laboratory support or a science-based role essential.
- Strong understanding of scientific equipment safety procedures and CLEAPSS guidance.
- Ability to work proactively and manage multiple tasks.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
