Our client a prestigious co-educational independent school in Staffordshire is seeking a forward-thinking creative and highly skilled Design & Technology Teacher to join their innovative Design Faculty from January 2026. The appointed teacher will teach DT across KS3KS5 with specialism in Product Design Engineering Architecture or Resistant Materials depending on experience. The curriculum is rooted in technical mastery problem-solving sustainable design and emerging technologies.

You will guide students through design thinking research modelling CAD development prototyping and final manufacture. The school also encourages teachers to support enrichment such as STEM projects industry collaborations and design competitions.

Experience and Qualifications
QTS/PGCE and a degree in DT Product Design Engineering or related field
Experience teaching KS4/KS5 is desirable
Strong CAD/CAM skills and workshop knowledge
Ability to teach with creativity clarity and enthusiasm
Commitment to innovation and design excellence
