Responsibilities:
- Work cooperatively and participate as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team utilizing person-centered thinking positive behavior supports motivational interviewing and trauma-informed care to prevent and respond to patient situations.
- Comply with all safety and health standards laws regulations policies procedures and protocols in order to ensure that all applicable environmental standards are met so that a safe clean humane environment is provided for all patients and staff.
- Provide person-centered trauma-informed culturally sensitive professional nursing care so that the physical and emotional needs of each patient are met.
- Implement the treatment plan and document the results of interventions to assist patients in accomplishing their individual goals.
- Facilitate the care and documentation of care of the patient from admission through discharge.
- Oversee and follow the medication administration policies and processes to ensure medications are delivered safely and in accordance with all regulatory guidelines.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of mental health and or substance use disorder experience.
- Active Minnesota RN License
