Blue Prism Developer Job Description
Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled Blue Prism Developer to design develop test and deploy end-to-end automation solutions using the Blue Prism RPA platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with RPA process design strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders to identify and implement automation opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation using Blue Prism.
Design process workflows in Blue Prism Process Studio and Object Studio following RPA best practices.
Develop test and deploy Blue Prism processes and objects.
Integrate Blue Prism with multiple systems (web desktop databases APIs).
Ensure automations adhere to security scalability and maintainability standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation including PDD SDD and user guides.
Work with cross-functional teams (Business Analysts QA IT) to support automation projects.
Monitor automations using Blue Prism Control Room.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT Engineering or related field.
2 5 years of hands-on experience in Blue Prism development.
Strong knowledge of:
Blue Prism process/object development
Exception handling and work queues
Credential management
Surface and native automation
Basic understanding of databases (SQL) APIs and scripting.
Experience working in Agile or SDLC environments.
Strong analytical troubleshooting and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
Blue Prism Developer Certification (AD01 / AD02)
Experience with other RPA tools (UiPath Automation Anywhere)
Experience C# Python or similar programming languages
Knowledge of OCR AI/ML-based automation or Intelligent Automation tools
Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure AWS)
Soft Skills
Good communication and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
Strong attention to detail
Time-management and multitasking ability
