Job Purpose

We are seeking a Technical Scrum Master to support multiple technical teams within Power Delivery IT. Under general supervision this role provides Agile coaching facilitates Scrum ceremonies coordinates with offshore teams and ensures delivery of technical projects within scope budget and schedule. The Scrum Master will maintain Jira-based work tracking ensure process standards are followed and provide progress reporting to leadership. The position requires strong project coordination skills technical understanding and the ability to guide teams toward Agile maturity.

Key Responsibilities

Agile & Scrum Leadership

• Facilitate all Agile ceremonies including daily standups sprint planning sprint reviews retrospectives and backlog refinement.
• Coach teams on Agile principles Scrum practices and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with offshore teams for smooth daily operations and timely delivery.

Project & Technical Coordination

• Manage medium to large-scale IT-related projects within Power Delivery IT ensuring delivery within budget and timelines.
• Prepare and manage required project documentation agreements and execution plans.
• Track and maintain Jira dashboards sprint progress and team velocity.
• Provide accurate and timely progress updates to internal and external stakeholders.

Stakeholder Communication

• Maintain strong communication with project sponsors leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Act as the liaison between business units IT teams and external partners.
• Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Operational Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to engineering and project management standards within Power Delivery IT.
• Recommend process improvements and support adoption of new tools or technologies.
• Support storm duty extended hours or emergency responsibilities as required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering Computer Science IT or related field
  (OR High School Diploma/GED with equivalent work experience)
• 2 years of experience in Project Management Engineering IT Delivery or Scrum/Agile environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Engineering IT or related discipline
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) PMI-ACP or equivalent Agile certification
• Project Management Certification (PMP CAPM)
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification (optional based on background)
