Job Summary

Position Title: Psychiatrist
Job Location: Bowling Green KY
Employment Type: Full-time/on-site

Key Tasks And Responsibilities:

Provides clinical services to persons within scope of practice according to evidence-based clinical practice.
Works with Executive Director of Behavioral Health to meet quality improvement goals for the organization.
Provides clinical consultation to other clinicians involved in care of patients served by the organization.
Collaborates effectively with Primary Care Dental Optometry and Pharmacy Services to assure the health and wellness of patients.
Participates as a treatment team leader when necessary.
Participates in after-hours coverage for patients or serves in an on-call rotation with other providers.
Participate in peer review and review of sentinel events as necessary.

Collaborates with a team of health professionals providing clinical leadership in behavioral health.
Understands behavioral health resources referral sources and maintains a positive relationship.
Ability to maintain professional boundaries clients and co-workers.

Degree And Licensure Requirements:

M.D. or D.O. from an accredited institution who has completed an approved residency program.
Board Eligible or is Board Certified in Neurology and Psychiatry; Child and Adolescent Psychiatry; Addictions; Forensic or other psychiatric field of practice.
Must be licensed to practice in Missouri have active BNDD and DEA certification.
Must have successfully completed an approved residency program in the field of psychiatry.
