Job Summary

Position: Manual Automation Engineer
Qualification: B Tech/M Tech/MCA/Bachelors or Masters in computers or equivalent
Location: Kochi (Work from office)
Experience: 5 yrs
Notice: Immediate to max 30 Days
Budget: 12 LPA
Shift Timing: 10:30 to 7:30 pm Shift

Manual Testing Responsibilities
Analyze requirements user stories and acceptance criteria to identify test scenarios and test conditions.
Design and execute detailed test cases test suites exploratory tests and regression tests.
Perform functional integration system UI/UX and end-to-end testing.
Log defects with clear steps screenshots and reproducibility details; collaborate with developers for resolution.

Conduct smoke and sanity testing during build deployments.
Validate fixes in each release cycle and maintain test traceability.
Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback on testability and possible gaps.
Maintain test documentation including test plans test reports and test evidence.

Automation Testing Responsibilities
Develop maintain and enhance automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium Cypress Playwright Appium TestNG JUnit etc.).
Automate regression smoke and functional tests for web/mobile/API platforms.
Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins GitHub Actions GitLab CI Azure DevOps).
Identify automation feasibility and prioritize test cases for automation.
Implement robust scripts with reusable functions data-driven testing and page object models (POM).
Troubleshoot automation failures and ensure stable test execution.
Generate automation execution reports and metrics.
API & Performance Testing
Write and execute API test cases using tools like Postman REST Assured or Karate.
Validate request/response payloads status codes schema validation and integration flows.
Execute basic performance/load testing using JMeter or similar tools.
