Commercial Lines Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a growing team. With over 40 years of experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) and Life & Health/Employee Benefits (L&H/EB) the organization prides itself on fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. As a second-generation agency with a strong presence in the community are committed to providing exceptional service to the clients while maintaining a positive and stable workplace for the employees. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of small to middle-market accounts including contractors habitational construction and other industries.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $70000 - $80000 annually based on experience.
- Benefits:
- 95% employer-paid health insurance.
- 401(k) plan with a 6% employer match (eligible after 90 days).
Responsibilities
- Manage a generalist book of business focusing on small to middle-market specialty accounts.
- Handle A-Z account management including quoting new and renewal business (10% new business 90% remarketing).
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Utilize AMS360 software to manage accounts and ensure accuracy in all documentation.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required. Additional designations are a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Commercial Lines account management.
- 5 years of experience in Commercial Lines is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AMS360 software is highly desirable.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
- Positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
