Job Summary

We have multiple openings at a large family-owned dairy farm that will provide you with the opportunity to develop within the organization and pave the way for future advancement roles. We seek dedicated individuals who are not hesitant to engage in physically demanding work and have a passion for animals.

Requirements

Key responsibilities
Milking: Operate milking machines or milk by hand preparing cows before and after milking according to established procedures.

Hygiene and sanitation: Maintain a clean milking parlor and equipment to prevent the spread of bacteria and ensure milk quality and safety. This includes rigorously excluding contaminated milk from being sold.

Animal health monitoring: Observe cows for signs of illness injury or other deviations from normal behavior. Report issues like mastitis or lameness to the supervisor and provide basic preventative care as needed.

Equipment maintenance: Clean and maintain all milking equipment and ensure it is assembled and connected correctly to the bulk tank.

Herd management: Help move cows to and from the milking parlor and assist with other farm duties like feeding or cleaning stalls and facilities.
Record keeping: Maintain accurate records of milk production and any treatments or health issues for individual cows.


Must be used to hard work
Can work in all whether conditions
