Job Summary
Work Shift:
Primarily responsible for providing professional emergency treatment in the pre-hospital setting. Primarily treats and transports the sick or injured. Responsible for carrying out the mission vision and quality commitment of Houston Healthcare.Education & Training:
High School graduate or GED equivalent. Completion of a vocational training
program as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician.
Required Certification/Registration/Licensure:
Current Georgia AEMT certification. Valid Georgia drivers license. Current
AHA/ARC BLS certification. AHA ACLS/ARC ALS and AHA/ARC PALS or
PEARS certification within 9 months. CPT training within 9 months of hire.
FAST-ED stroke scale or obtained within three (3) months of hire.
