Responsibilities:
*Maintains established departmental policies procedures objectives and quality assurance creating documentation as required. Follows JCAHO guidelines.
*Performs various types of exams to produce radiographs evaluating for technical quality and preparing for interpretation.
*Checks equipment supplies and accessories on a regular basis and reports shortages and failures to assure customer satisfaction and safety.
*Maintains orderliness cleanliness and professionalism in all work areas. Prepares maintains room and transports patients if needed to radiographic room for exams.
*Participates in the Preceptor Program as designed for new hires and students.
*Knows and applies team and organizational results-based competencies.
*Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs current literature in-service meetings and workshops.
*Executes supervision as required by supervisor.
