We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Full Time Psychiatrist to join our team at Crestwyn Behavioral Health a leading provider of acute healthcare services. In this role you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of mental health conditions through personalized care that may include psychotherapy psychoanalysis medication management and hospitalization when necessary. The position will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to evaluate patients mental and emotional health develop individualized treatment plans and ensure the medical stability of patients. CrestwynBehavioral Healths providescare to adolescents aged 12-17 adults and seniors in a variety of settings to include inpatient outpatient partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. Conveniently located in historic Germantown district of Memphis Tennessee Crestwyn Behavioral Health is a state-of-the-art acute mental health inpatient hospital where individuals can receive life-changing care for psychiatric and substance use disorders.
Overview:
Responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of mental illnesses through a combination of personal counseling (psychotherapy) psychoanalysis hospitalization and/or medication.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing clinical services to patients at the facility.
- Practice within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations as well as by corporate facility policy or procedures.
- Review medical information on patients to ensure medical stability and to offer medical recommendations.
- Evaluate patients for mental emotional or behavioral disorders.
- Treat or direct treatment of patients utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications.
- Review and complete medical information for individual care plans documents services and information in a timely manner.
- Maintain confidential documentation compliance and billing in accordance with the policy and procedures.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required.
- One or more years post graduate degree practice preferred.
- Licensed in the state in which the facility(s) operate.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Board certification in psychiatry
- Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working.
