Systems Engineer | Full Time | Day

Summary

Under minimal supervision plans and evaluates application server systems and provides leadership to systems planning engineering architecture and the development of technical standards. Provides expert technical resources for assigned information systems or technologies provides experienced technical leadership in all phases of complex ITS projects and provides resolution to complex technical problems.

Education

Four years of formal Information Technology training or education beyond the high school level (e.g. Bachelors Degree).

Certification Registration & Licensure

Licensure required: Current valid Drivers License.

Experience

Minimum of five years related ITS experience and/or training. Healthcare environment highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Installs configures and supports complex server operating systems hardware and applications.

• Maintains stability and recoverability of application server systems.

• Provides technical leadership in all phases of ITS projects.

• Adheres to established ITS Service and Support Policies.

• Adheres to established ITS Change Management Policies.

• Creates and maintains IT system documentation per the IT Documentation Policy.

• Participates in the ITS On-Call Rotation.

• Adheres to established ITS Technical Standards Policies.

• Participates in supports and champions the outcomes of ITS process improvement initiatives.
