Job Summary
Nature and Scope
Plumas District Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our this role you will evaluate plan and provide Physical Therapy services for patients across inpatient swing bed outpatient and skilled nursing settings in accordance with physician orders and state regulations.
Location
- This position supports clinical care across our Quincy CA and Greenville CA locations.
Compensation
- Hourly Rate: $55.51 $79.14 (based on experience; 13-step clinical scale up to 30 years)
- Full-Time Sign-On Bonus: $10000
- Part-Time Sign-On Bonus: $5000
Job Status / Shift Information
- Full-time and part-time opportunities
- May work across inpatient swing bed outpatient and skilled nursing departments based on patient needs
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Masters or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- Active California Physical Therapy License (in good standing)
- Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)
- Current AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Compliance with all California and federal PT regulatory requirements
Preferred Experience
- 1 year experience in acute care swing bed/skilled nursing or outpatient settings
- Strong clinical reasoning communication and documentation skills
- Ability to manage diverse patient populations and diagnoses
- Proficiency with computers and EMR systems
- Strong problem-solving abilities and high attention to detail
