The Fairview Park City Schools has openings for Reading Intervention Tutors for an eleven (11) week program not to exceed thirty-three (33) hours. The reading program runs as follows:

January 20 2026through April 2 2026(11weeks)
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (total of 33hours)

GENERAL DUTIES:
Tutors are responsible for implementing research-based intensive explicit and systematic reading interventions to a small group of students. Lesson plans and classroom materials will be provided.

CERTIFICATION/CREDENTIALS:
Preferred - Valid ODE Teacher Certification/Licensure - Elementary K-8 or PreK-3 and K-12 Reading

QUALIFICATIONS:
Friendly and polite demeanor
Knowledge of Ohio Academic Content Standards and project-based personalized learning
Well versed in evidence-based instructional strategies
Collaborate with classroom teachers principals and support personnel to maintain consistency with student interventions
Ability to coach one-on-one and in small groups to assist students in improving their academic skills and self-efficacy
Develop and administer remediation program
Administer curriculum-based and standardized assessments to determine student progress and effectiveness of intervention strategies
Able to use current technology including computers
Ability to work well with staff students and parents as a member of a team

SALARY:
$30 per hour
