What you will be doing:

We are looking for an experienced project manager to lead the delivery of electric vehicle infrastructure projects under framework agreements with a strong focus on civil engineering and electrical connection works. The role involves managing multiple projects from start to finish and ensuring compliance with safety quality and client requirements.

• Oversee all aspects of EV infrastructure projects including groundworks ducting foundations electrical connections and associated civil works
• Develop project plans manage resources and coordinate with internal teams and subcontractors
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients suppliers and stakeholders ensuring clear communication and strong relationships
• Report directly to the Operations Director on project progress risks and financial performance
• Monitor project budgets forecast costs and ensure financial targets are met
• Ensure compliance with CDM regulations health and safety standards and environmental requirements
• Take ownership of health and safety management across all sites including risk assessments method statements and site audits
• Identify and mitigate project risks proactively
• Provide regular progress updates to senior management and clients

About You:

• Proven experience managing civils-biased projects within EV infrastructure utilities or highways
• Strong knowledge of groundworks ducting and reinstatement
• Familiarity with EV charging technology and associated electrical/ICP works
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects under framework agreements
• Competence in MS Project or similar planning tools

Qualifications required:

• Degree or equivalent in civil engineering construction management or a related field
• SMSTS or equivalent safety certification
• Full UK driving licence
