Job Description:
Assist in the design configuration and development of ServiceNow solutions primarily within ITSM HRSD and ITOM under guidance from senior developers.
Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and help translate them into basic technical tasks and configurations.
Support the team in building workflows forms UI policies business rules and client scripts using JavaScript and ServiceNow platform tools.
Participate in process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
Help in testing debugging and documentation of ServiceNow enhancements and fixes.
Assist with integrations between ServiceNow and other systems as directed learning best practices for APIs and data exchange.
Ensure adherence to ServiceNow development standards documentation procedures and governance guidelines.
Stay current with ServiceNow releases features and platform capabilities to continuously improve skills.
Support ITIL-aligned processes and learn how ITIL best practices apply within ServiceNow environments.
Basic knowledge or academic exposure to ServiceNow platform and its core modules (ITSM/HRSD preferred).
Familiarity with JavaScript web technologies or scripting fundamentals.
Understanding of software development principles SDLC and basic troubleshooting.
Exposure to or interest in ITSM processes and the ITIL framework.
Strong analytical thinking willingness to learn and ability to work collaboratively.
Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions and contribute to team discussions.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field.
Preferred but not required: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) ITIL Foundation certification or academic projects involving ServiceNow.
