Position: Project Manager - Fin Line & Die Assembly Hourly Grade: 7
Purpose:The Fin Line & Die Assembly project manager is responsible for the tracking and reporting of jobs going through both the Fin Die room and the Fin Line area.This includes both the tracking of parts related to the projects and the projects themselves.The Fin Line and Die Project Manager reports to the Fin Line and Die Supervisor.
Responsibilities: Quantifiable metrics to which a person is held accountable
- Update value stream notes weekly.
- Track parts in the ERP system and communicate priorities with machining teams.
- Communicate with Sales Project Manager on project updates.
- Be present for buyoffs with internal and external customers.
- Update work instructions as needed.
- Coordinate with FDL supervisor to communicate projects schedules for assembly floor employees.
- Close out time and make time corrections in ERP when the supervisor is not available.

- Practice and encourage the best safety practices resulting in zero lost time within department.
- Implement and practice effective 5S and participate in regular team 5S audits.

- Successfully complete semi-routine procedures and processes
- Engage in clear courteous effective honest and open communications with team members and others within and outside the department.

Essential qualifications and skills
- Proficient computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
- Ability to navigate new software effectively and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and determined to meet goals.
- Documentation of a current drug screen must be provided prior to start date.
