Dual Language Teachers for various and unanticipated worksites throughout the district (HQ: Schaumburg IL).
Provide instruction in dual language education (Chinese/English) to elementary school students. Implement district goals in an instructional environment that promotes each students learning social and emotional development. Establish relationships with parents administrators and other staff members. Serve as a dual language education resource to other staff and interested families. Ensure that the dual-language program goals are met for each student and will provide families with ongoing home/school communication in both languages. Create lesson plans to support mastery of grade level essential outcomes and deliver high quality instruction practices. Collaborate with teaching partners in planning and implementing instruction for dual language students. Collect analyze and evaluate student language and content proficiency based on assessment data from the state district and classroom levels.
Job Requirements
Bachelors degree in Education (Will also accept any field in accordance with Illinois State Board of Education requirements) required. State of Illinois licensure as a Professional Educator (PEL) required. Must speak read and write Chinese.
