Dual Language Teachers
Various and unanticipated locations throughout the district (HQ: Schaumburg IL)
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide dual language instruction (Japanese/English) to junior high school students. Ensure that Dual Language program goals are met for each Dual Language student. Create lesson plans designed to support mastery of grade level Essential Outcomes. Deliver high quality instruction using best practices. Plan and implement instruction for Dual Language students. Collect analyze and evaluate student language and content proficiency based on assessment data (state district and classroom). Establish good relationships with parents administrators and other staff members.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree in Education (will also accept any field in accordance with Illinois State Board of Education requirements). State of Illinois licensure as a Professional Educator (PEL) with Mandarin Bilingual Endorsement required. Required Skills: must speak read and write Mandarin.
