Pay : HK$63338 to HK$87341 (HMPS Point 1 to 8) per month including Monthly Allowance
Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate monitor and implement IT solutions in areas of responsibility.
2. Provide consultancy based on IT and industry expertise in areas of responsibility.
3. Finalize requirement specifications of IT solutions in areas of responsibility.
4. Provide high level system analysis problem diagnosis and solving.
5. Ensure quality assurance of IT solutions define support needs for users and provide expert level support in areas of responsibility.
6. Be responsible for proper handling of change requests review of standards and guidelines of IT solutions.
7. Ensure smooth systems operation by monitoring systems health performance batch processing and supporting facilities around the clock.
8. Provide capacity planning and resources sizing in areas of responsibility.
9. Evaluate recommend and assist procurement processes for required hardware software or services.
10. Conduct feasibility study including recommendations for new IT system solutions.
11. Liaise with users to collect and analyze user requirements and overall design for the application systems.
12. Monitor progress for the different stages of application development including design development testing implementation and review.
13. Lead the on-going application support maintenance and enhancements.
14. Evaluate recommend and assist the tendering of technical solutions including systems products software or services.
15. Coordinate monitor implement and manage technical infrastructure enhancement projects such as network computing platform desktop computer data centre etc.
16. Ensure smooth systems operation in the areas of responsibility.
17. Measure the service levels of vendors and coordinate with vendors for continual improvement.
18. Provide after office hours system support.
19. Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Entry Requirements:
1. Degree in Computer Science or relevant disciplines; or equivalent.
2. 6 years post qualification Information Technology (IT) related experience.*
*Relevant experience gained in HA may be considered as equivalent to post-qualification experience.
Preferred Attributes:
1. Solid experience in hospital IT service management project implementation and coordination with good technical proficiency
2. Proven experience in both IT technical operation and system development would be an advantage
3. Good problem solving project management and risk management skills
4. Good interpersonal and supervision skills
5. Self-motivated analytical innovative able to work independently and work under pressure
6. Good at communication presentation and documentation in both Chinese and English.
