You will be part of the Global HR Technology team responsible for the implementation configuration maintenance and support of MSCIs HR applications with a primary focus on Workday Core HCM and Absence team partners closely with HR Operations HR Generalists and COE) to deliver scalable compliant and efficient HR technology solutions that enhance employee experience and business performance. This position will act as the single point of contact for HR Operations and HR Generalists providing functional system expertise configuration support and issue resolution.
While this role is centered on Workday you will also have opportunities to gain hands-on experience with other HR applications broadening your technical and functional skills within MSCIs HR technology ecosystem.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Configure maintain and enhance Workday Core HCM and Absence modules ensuring accuracy compliance and efficiency of HR processes.
Manage Workday business process configurations in line with global HR policies and operational requirements.
Support testing and validation of Workday releases enhancements and configuration changes.
Troubleshoot and resolve system and process issues in coordination with HR and technical teams.
- Serve as the primary functional expert and point of contact for HR Operations and HR Generalists.
- Partner with HR stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement system-driven solutions.
Create and maintain documentation of configurations testing and support activities.
Ensure data integrity accuracy and compliance with HR policies and global standards.
Stay current on Workday feature releases and industry best practices recommending enhancements as needed.
Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to learn and support other HR applications as part of MSCIs integrated HR systems.
Your skills and experience that will help you excel
Bachelors degree in Information Systems Computer Science or a related field.
24 years of hands-on experience in Workday focusing on Core HCM Absence and business process configuration.
Strong understanding of HR operations processes and data management.
Knowledge of Workday integrations will be an added advantage.
Excellent analytical troubleshooting and documentation skills with strong attention to detail.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with HR Operations and HR stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced global environment.
Passion for continuous improvement and leveraging technology to optimize HR processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).
Willingness to learn and support other HR applications beyond Workday.
Knowledge of SOX controls and compliance.
Experience with Change Management in ServiceNow (SNOW) and JIRA.
Familiarity with compliance and governance processes.
